Milada

Named for Milada Müller, who lived with her husband František in the Prague villa designed by Adolf Loos, Milada Optical continues ALOOS’s dialogue with architecture and everyday life.

Its sweeping cat-eye silhouette brings together sculpted lines and gentle curves. With clear lenses, the eyes become part of the expression—a familiar elegance, seen in a more personal light.

Italian M49 bioacetate by Mazzucchelli 1849 gives Milada Optical its rich colour and polished lustre. The sculpted profile catches the light along its edges, revealing the depth of the material.

Made with wood-derived cellulose and a plant-based plasticiser, M49 reduces reliance on fossil-derived ingredients while preserving the strength and expressive colour of traditional acetate.

Complete your frame with ZEISS prescription lenses, with clear or light-adaptive options tailored to your vision and daily life.

A sculpted cat-eye frame with lifted outer corners and softly rounded lenses. Milada Optical’s sweeping upper line draws attention to the eyes, lending definition and a sense of lift to the face.

Substantial contours give the silhouette presence, balanced by gentle curves below. Clear lenses reveal the gaze within its expressive outline.
