Ludimir

Ludimir finds its character in the quieter details: a gently rounded outline, a sculpted bridge, and paired rivets that punctuate the frame.

Its familiar proportions recall vintage eyewear, while clean contours give it a contemporary ease. A piece that feels at home among books, in the city, or beside the sea bringing a subtle expression to everyday life.

Crafted from Italian M49 bioacetate by Mazzucchelli 1849, Ludimir pairs rich colour with a polished lustre. Its gently curved contours reveal the depth of the material as they catch the light.

Made with wood-derived cellulose and a plant-based plasticiser, M49 reduces reliance on fossil-derived ingredients while preserving the strength and expressive colour of traditional acetate.

ZEISS lenses complete the frame, with a choice of sun, polarised or light-adaptive options—selected for the light you move through.

A rounded silhouette with a softly flattened upper line and a keyhole bridge. Ludimir’s gentle curves soften the frame’s outline, while slender temples and paired rivets lend a discreet, classic character.

Nominal measurements: 49 mm lens · 22 mm bridge · 145 mm temples.
