Ludimir

Ludimir Optical finds its character in small, considered details: a softly rounded silhouette, a sculpted keyhole bridge and paired rivets at the corners.

With clear lenses, the frame takes on a quieter intimacy. The eyes remain visible, while translucent colour traces the face. A vintage sensibility, carried into the everyday rituals of reading, working and observing.

Italian M49 bioacetate by Mazzucchelli 1849 gives Ludimir Optical its depth of colour, transparency and polished lustre. Light reveals the metal cores within the temples and gathers along the frame’s curved edges.

Made with wood-derived cellulose and a plant-based plasticiser, M49 reduces reliance on fossil-derived ingredients while preserving the strength and rich colour of traditional acetate.

Complete your frame with ZEISS prescription lenses, with clear or light-adaptive options tailored to your vision and daily life.

A rounded frame with a gently flattened upper line, a keyhole bridge and slender temples. Ludimir Optical balances soft curves with subtle definition, framing the eyes without overwhelming the face.

Translucent colourways reveal the construction within, giving the silhouette an airy visual presence. Paired rivets add a discreet, classic detail.
